Рузвельта [ Roosevelt, Franklin Delano (FDR)] в январе 1942. Заняло ведущее место в регулировании военно-промышленного производства в стране. В компетенцию Управления входило размещение военных заказов, контроль за их выполнением и организация военного производства, вопросы взаимоотношений работников и предпринимателей, обеспечение предприятий рабочей силой.
